Default Get Data from a secured Access database

Hello all

I am trying to get my data from an MS Access2003 file. My Access
database has permission rights (.mdw). So when I tried to DataPivot
TablesExternal Data SourceGet Data using Excel and click on the .mdb
file that has my Access database it will not let me open it because of
the permissions. I tried opening the database using the shortcut in the
browse option but it will not work either. Can somebody tell me how to
open this Access secured database? or maybe another way to link my
Access database to Excel

Thank you in advance

I tried using my logon (in Excel) that I used to logon to the database
in Access and it did not work. Maybe its another password or something?
