Can't find the convert to pdf option in excel
I just purchased a new laptop from dell with ms 2003 office software already
loaded on it. When I go to save an excel spdsht to pdf format, I can't find that option anywhere. I used to have an icon in one of my menu bars, it's not there anymore. Even when I select the file, then save as - there is no options to save as pdf. Is this option no longer avavilable from MS? Can anyone help. Thanks, Rita |

The software you need is the Adobe writer from Adobe software. It's
third-party, MSFT doesn't supply it. Dave -- Brevity is the soul of wit. "Rita" wrote: I just purchased a new laptop from dell with ms 2003 office software already loaded on it. You will need to install adobe acrobat before you can make excel do that.
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/matrix.html You will at least need "Elements". If you had that on an old PC there should be no problem to reinstall it on the new one. Just bang the CD Rom in the hole. -- Allllen "Rita" wrote: I just purchased a new laptop from dell with ms 2003 office software already loaded on it. Excel never had a convert to pdf function. You would need a pdf writer such as Adobe Acrobat or similar, which is what your previous setup had. If you do want to purchase Adobe Acrobat Writer you could use the method I have
found works quite well with one extra step involved. Dale Nurden has instructions and downloads here........... http://www.rcis.co.za/dale/info/pdfguide.htm Saves first to single *.ps file which is then converted to *.pdf Returns one PDF file from multiple sheets. See also David McRitchie's site for alternatives to the above. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/pdf.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 13 Nov 2006 09:53:47 -0800, Gord Dibben <gorddibbATshawDOTca wrote: Rita Excel never had a convert to pdf function.
