Default CELL PROTECTION

Hi, I work for a company that does business to business sales. I created a
pricelist for my company and I want to send it out to our dealers.

Question: Is there a way of locking a specific range, but, still allow
users to create functions using the date on that range?

Scenario: We have a price column that I do not want prices changed on, but I
want to allow my dealers to create functions so that they can calculate
pricing for multiple purchases and company assisgned discounts.

Default CELL PROTECTION

format cells protection locked
for the cells with your prices

format cells protection not locked
for the cells where the dealers will create functions

then tools protection protect sheet
put in a password
allow users to select locked cells, and select unlocked cells
