Default Critical graph

Anyone know the best way to show a critical graph in office?

i.e. where you have dates in a top column, and down the side jobs to
do. It is usually expressed as blocks against each item to do and
covering the relevant weeks concerned in a dark line or block.

I'm guessing Excel would be the best tool for this but maybe not...

Thanks in advance,
Jen

Have you tried the Excel templates you can download from Microsoft? There may
be something you are look for there.

Search groups.google.com for "excel gantt chart" (without the quotes) and
you'll find dozens of ways to create it.
