Default Recovery files

If you have a spreadsheet open when Excel closes due to a computer shutdown,
where are the recovery documents located on the computer?

Bill

Have a look at the path entered in ToolsOptionsSave

That's where the AutoRecovery file will be saved.

Is Excel not presenting you with the option to recover when you restart Excel
after a crash?

The option was offered, but the person bypassed the option and it was only
office once. I will check the path in the options section. Thank you.
