Default tracking changes in excel

I am trying to track the changes that I am making in excel. I have 4
worksheets in the workbook that I need to make changes to. However, there
are links in these worksheets so everytime I switch to a new worksheet these
links update and it appears that i made changes to these numbers. I am going
to track changes under the tools menu and trying to choose in the "where"
section the cells that i want to track, but I can only select one worksheet.
Evertime I try to input more that one worksheet's information it tells me
that reference is invalid. Does anyone have any ideas?

Or does anyone know how to track changes in excel that resemble the way
changes are resembled in microsoft word? That looks nicer and is more
helpful for what I am doing.
