I have a sheet with many cells set to General Format containing "dates" in
the form "20060913". Is it possible to select all these cells and convert the data to show the date in the form mm/dd/yyyy? Would appreciate your help. |

How to convert data in General Format cells to dates
It's a good method but needs a minor alteration: use the YMD date

How to convert data in General Format cells to dates
All this does is to move the alignment from left to right, everthing else
remains the same! I have tried both delimited and fixed width setting for the original data with the same result. Am I doing something wrong? "Roger Govier" wrote in message ... Hi Mark the column.
