Default How do I get the tab key to move to the immediate right cell?

Go to Tools | Options, Transition tab and uncheck Transition navigation keys.

The tab key on my older version of Excel moved to the next right cell & now I
have a newer version and when I hit the tab key, it moves it 11 cells to the
right. How do I get it to move to the next immediate right cell?
Thanks
