find a cell and put data in another cell
Hi i have a sheet with 600 numbers in column A, what i want to do is to be
able to search for a number in column A from a different sheet and place a name by that number in column B. Hope you can help -- thanks |

look in the vba help index for FIND or FINDNEXT if more than one

Look at Vlookup in help.

Hi thanks, i want the name to be put into the column next to the number in

to make the name stay on sheet 1 even after it is removed from Sheet 2, you
