Default convert text to dates

Hi,
If you have the text date "30 AUG 2006" in cell A1. you can use
=datevalue(a1) or =datevalue("30 AUG 2006"). if the answer return in number
like 38959 you can format it. (if you use =datevalue("a1") it will answer
#value!.)
