Then wouldn't you just use it directly in that calculation? What advantage

Hi, is it possible to have a cell on a worksheet that automaticaly produces the date ie =TODAY() then in another (hidden) cell show that date as a number. for example if the date placed was 3rd Feb 2005 the hidden cell would show 3 as this is the 3rd day, or if the date shown was 21st Feb 2005, the cell would show 21 as this is day 21 of the month.
