Default Page break problem

Hello,

I have a worksheet I select a row and do "insert page break" I see no
new page break even in pagebreak preview so you think there is no new
pagebreak established...... but I now see "remove pagebreak " on the
tool menu as if there is a new pagebreak......long story short I do not see
it

any ideas ?
thanks

One possibility is that, in the page setup dialog box, you've clicked
on "Fit x ___ pages wide by ___ pages tall". This makes all page
breaks ineffective, even though you can still insert and remove them

Hope this helps,
Dom

Hello Dan,

Try this. To see the page breaks, keep the worksheet in NORMAL view. Then in
the TOOLS menu select OPTIONS. Under OPTIONS select the tab VIEW and under
WINDOWS OPTIONS remove the the tick mark for "Gridlines". Now you would be
able to see where the page breaks are.

You would be able to remove the page breaks in the normal way.
