Default Color Pallette and Font

I appoligize if these are dumb questions.

If I make changes to my color pallette and save the workbook, then email it
to someone does the color pallete I used stay with the workbook or doesnt it
depend how the user has their pallette setup?

As far as fonts go I think I know this one but here goes. If I use
non-default windows font does the user need to also have that font
installed?? Fonts dont stay with the worbook right?

1) The color pallette stays with the workbook.
2) The NAME of the font stays with the workbook but when it tries to
display/print and finds that the font is not installed on the foreign
workstation, Excel will use what IT thinks is the closest approximation (but
you may not agree :O).
