I ran a window washer program on my computer and is erased all my cookies
including usernames and passwords. Now when I start my computer, it prompts me for my Windows username as password...I used to just hit cancel and it brought me to Windows. I don't know my username or password. Is there a way for me to bypass this...maybe start in Safe Mode? I really appreciate any and all help as I have been down all day today. Thanks! |

If you don't get an answer here, you may want to ask in a newsgroup that's
dedicated to windows, not excel. Kim wrote: I ran a window washer program on my computer and is erased all my cookies including usernames and passwords. Try this.........
Log in to default Administrator account [that is not meant for regular use] by pressing Ctrl Alt Delete twice when in Log-in screen and in the user name column, enter Administrator , press Enter. Reset the password of your account by going to Control Panel User Accounts Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Mon, 9 Oct 2006 12:46:02 -0700, Kim wrote: I ran a window washer program on my computer and is erased all my cookies including usernames and passwords.
