Default XAR files do not get deleted all the time.

Hello,

We are working in a Terminal Server Environment. Office 2003 is fully
installed. The user's profile gets copied from a file server to the
Terminal Server. The user has "Full Control" over its directory
(Roaming Profile folder).

We have lots of cases where the .XAR files are not getting deleted, and
thus, it takes more and more space in the user's profile and takes time
to copy over the network at every logon / logoff.

We are using the default directory for those Auto Recovery files (no
reg entry):
[drive]:\Documents and Settings\[User.Name]\Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel

Does anyone have an idea why those files do not get deleted every time
as stipulated in this Microsoft document:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289273/

Thank you,

Xavier.
