I have a unique issue with Excel 2003 SP2. I have two users that go to a
network share and open up a workbook. The workbook is NOT shared it is in a common folder on the network drive that both users have rights to. The issue is that if one person has the file open the other person can open the file WITHOUT getting the following message €śFile in Use" message with €śRead only" "Notify" or Cancel options. The second user should NOT be able to open the workbook unless they get the message stated above. The second user does not always get the message. I want the "File in Use€ť message to come up every time that one user has it open and the second user tries to open the file. Please help Any and All help is appreciated. |
