Default Standard font in a "New Microsoft Excel Worksheet.xls" wont change

I can change the standard font to Times Roman 12 using
ToolsOptionsGeneralStandard font
Every time I open Excel from StartAll ProgramsMicrosoft OfficeMicrosoft
Office Excel 2003 or from a shortcut to this on the desk top it works
like a real beauty.

But Crikey, when I right click in a folder then New, then Microsoft
Excel Worksheet what do I get ? Its (yuk) Arial 10 again!!
What is going on here and how do stop this irritation???........grrrrrrrrrr

Thanks in advance
