Default Formula Needed

I need % of money spent. I have $4,000.00 in cell A1 (money in account) & I
have $2,480.00 in cell A2 (my balance after money spent).

=1-B1/A1 Cell formatted as %

Default Formula Needed

I believe this should work;

(a1-a2)/a1

Put this formula is say A3 and format that cell as a percentage, in your
case the result is 38% calculated as follows:

$4000-2480=1520
4000/1520(money spent) is 38%.
