can't edit excel worksheet with excel viewer 2003
i am trying to edit an excel spreadsheet that someone sent to me, but it
won't let me input any data. it shows excel viewer 2003 in the corner of my screen--does this mean i don't have excel and thus can't edit the data??? |

you are correct you have an excel viewer only all files will appear read only
