There are no words showing in the cells, yet they show in the formula bar.

Maybe the text and the background are the same colour ? White perhaps ?
Select all the text in the sheet and choose automatic for the font colour. Ctrl-A Format | Cells... | Font tab | Colour: Automatic Regards Trevor "Dan" wrote in message ... There are no words showing in the cells, yet they show in the formula bar. |

Maybe they are formatted as Custom ;;;
