Excel 2003 has the default behavior that when you click on a hyperlink, you
are automatically brought to it. This should not be the default behavior. The behavior should be like word, where you have to ctrl+click to activate the hyperlink. The default action should be edit cell. As word has the option to change this behavior, (tools-options-edit-use ctrl+click to follow hyperlink), excel should as well At best it's an annoyance, at worst a security risk because the destination address is not shown and can be hidden; you don't know where it's taking you. I hope this forum is moderated.
