Default How do I import hyperlink data from Access into Excel?

Running Windows XP Pro SP2 and Office 2003 Pro SP2. I have an Access
database table with a field using the hyperlink data type. I want to export
the table to Excel and preserve the hyperlink. The data imports correctly
but the hyperlink formatting and display are gone. I know I can export an
Access report to Excel and the hyperlink formatting is retained, but I'm
trying for a more "real-time" answer.
