Default How do I put several words one on top the other in one cell?

I guess, in other words what I'm looking for is if I wanted to write a
paragraph and place that entire paragraph in one cell. But, I want to be
able to see the entire paragraph in that one cell even after I place
information in the cell to the right of it. I do know how to size the
individual cell to accommodate the size of paragraph I want. Its got to be
easy but I just havent figured out where to click. €“ Thanks for your kind

try out insert coment,
right click on the cell and select, insert comment, you can adjust the
size of the comment box accordingly,
if that won't work for you you could always use a textbox,
in the drawings toolbar select textbox, you can place the textbox
wherever you require,
to add extra lines to a cell, hit Alt-Enter, this will give you another
line in the cell,

either use the cell format format...cell...alignment...wordwrap

or use alt-enter to split the cell text into paragraphs

Type the text in the cell.

Then right-click - Format Cells - Alignment - Click on the "Wrap Text" box.

That should work.

The answer came back within 5 minutes.
James Hamilton and tony h had just what I was looking for I thank you very
much for that. And thank you too davesexcel for your speedy response. I
really can't believe how quick you came back with answers thanks a mill.

Now dumb me found the answer before I came back here. I should have done
this in the first place, but didn't. The reason I didn't is because I
thought there would be to many entries. At any rate, here's want I did.
When in Excel I pressed F1 for help, typed in "cell" enter. Went done the
list of 30 results, clicked on "Wrap text in a cell". And there was the
answer everyone gave me. I know kind of dumb that I didn't figure the simple
process out before on how to find answers on my own. - Thanks everybody for
your quick responses - mark1000000
