Default HOW DO I USE THE CONSOLIDATION FEATURE IN OFFICE 2003

I AM GETTING MESSAGES LIKE SOURCE IS TOO LARGE FOR DESTINATION AND NO
REFERENCE IN DATA.

SOMETIMES THE CONSOLIDATION WORKS, OTHERS, NOT, AND I CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHAT
THE PROBLEM IS.

I NEED A STEP BY STEP APPROACH BECAUSE I PLAN TO USE IT IN A TEMPLATE.

CAN SOMEONE STEER ME TO A SOLUTION?
