Default In Excel, how do you title a page across the top (across columns)

We are trying to create a budget sheet and don't know how to type a title
across the top of all columns.

Maybe you can do it with the page headers.

File|Page Setup|Header/Footer tab

Or say you used columns A:M.
Select A1 and type your header in that cell.
Now select A1:M1

Format|Cells|Alignment tab|Horizontal dropdown|Choose Center across selection
