How to Blur Figures in an Excel Spreadsheet
- Select the cells that contain the figures you want to blur.
- Right-click on the selected cells and choose "Format Cells" from the context menu.
- In the Format Cells dialog box, go to the "Number" tab.
- Select "Custom" from the Category list.
- In the "Type" field, enter a series of semicolons (;) that correspond to the number of digits in the figures you want to blur. For example, if you want to blur a three-digit number, enter three semicolons (;;;) in the Type field.
- Click "OK" to apply the formatting.
Keep in mind that this is not a secure way to protect sensitive information, as someone with advanced Excel skills could potentially unblur the figures. If you want to protect your banking information, it's best to use a more secure method, such as password-protecting your Excel file or using a dedicated financial software.
