Default Urgent Please!


Hi everyone,

I need your help!

I have been trying to copy a chart from excel 2003 and paste it in Word
2003. The problem I am hvaing is that the text box and some arrows the
I created in the chart disapear in word? Is there a solution to show
these arrows and the text box. I have to manny charts and to do it
again in word is very time consuming...

Please help. Thanks in advance,

Default Urgent Please!

How about using the shift key to select the chart and the drawn objects.
Group the items (choose Group from the Draw menu on the Drawing toolbar)
together and then the copy and paste will work.

Default Urgent Please!

Instead of pasting directly in word use paste special -- picture. this
might solve your problem.

Alternatively if you want to keep the link with excel active, you could also
use paste special--paste link -- Either excel chart or picture. this will
ensure that you do not have to repaste if any changes are made in excel.

See if this works.
