Default Converting numbers

I need to convert a column of numbers that are formatted as General and
listed as a percent. (ex. 17.75). How could i convert that number to .1775

Default Converting numbers

Enter the value 100 in an empty cell and copy it
Select the range of numbers and use Edit |Paste Special Divide
