Sheet tabs
I am using Excel 2003 on an XP home SP2 PC. The sheet tabs on all my spread
sheets, existing ones and new ones have become very small, including the text on them, I would say about font size 6 or 7. The text on the sheet it's self is fine, I have the zoom set to 100% and no matter how I change the text size or zoom the sheet tabs stay small. I am not aware of anything I have done to bring this sudden change on. Does anyone know how I can get them back to normal. I have attached a JPG to show. Thanks Shane |

As I understand it, this is a function of your settings. You may have
changed something else that ALSO changed this?? -- Don Guillett SalesAid Software "Shane Nation" wrote in message ... I am using Excel 2003 on an XP home SP2 PC. You can change the size of the tabs. This is a function of your Windows Display Properties. The size of the sheet tabs are governed by the setting for Scrollbars in Windows Display Appearance. Mine are at 18. Start there and work your way up or down. The font will increase or decrease with the size of sheet tabs. Win98 as example... Right-click on desktop and select Appearance tab WinXP AppearanceAdvanced) "Item" drop down select Scrollbar Change setting to Taste Apply OK Depending upon your settings, you may have to re-boot to see the changes. Also note: this is a Global change and will affect all Applications. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Sat, 22 Jul 2006 17:31:33 +0100, "Shane Nation" wrote: I am using Excel 2003 on an XP home SP2 PC. Sheet tabs
Thanks for the feedback.
It is unfortunate that the ScrollBars don't have a Font Property. Everybody wants to change the Fonts. Gord On Sat, 22 Jul 2006 19:36:58 +0100, "Shane Nation" wrote: It is sorted. Thank you so much.
