Default Function to calculate time

I'm thinking this would be pretty difficult to do, but I thought I would
give it a shot!

I'm wondering if someone could make a function to calculate the # of hours
and minutes between 2 dates/times. However, it can only count times between
8am-5pm weekdays. I have a friend who made me a script to do this in the
Python unix programming language, however it would be awesome if there could
be an excel function to do this since my data originates in Excel.

Thanks

Gary
