Default detecting changes to series of charts

Is there any event that gets fired on the changing of the series behind charts?

I am aware of the SeriesChange property
(ChartEvents_SeriesChangeEventHandler) but it does not fire when you
add/remove/make any change in the 'source data' dialog box.

Am I just going to have to do without or is there a sneaky way around this?
