Can dynamic charts work if the information is going horizontally instead of

Yes. Adjust the OFFSET formula so that you specify 1 row and COUNTA(...) columns. Sure can. You need to adjust the formulas that define the dynamic range. For
example, adjust the OFFSET formula.
