Default Linking two identical charts

How do I link 2 charts in different files so that if I update one, the other
automatically updates? Thanks

All you can do is link them to the same data, so if the data changes, both
charts change. You can't link the formatting of a chart to that of another
chart. Unless, of course, you want to embark on a long VBA project.
