Default Data "Point" in graph not matching table

When you create a linegraph in excel and mouse over a bar, it gives a pop-up
with summary information - Series, Point, and value. What exactly does Point
represent and how do I get it to match the "Point" in my table that
corresponds to the x axis

Does the X axis use the labels from your table, or just the counting numbers
1, 2, 3, etc.? If not, use Source Data from the Chart menu, Series tab, to
add X Values (i.e., Category Labels) to the series.
