Default peltiertech question

I'm attempting to create colored vertical bands on a chart using directions
from peltiertech.
http://www.peltiertech.com/Excel/Cha...ticalBand.html

I can't get multiple bands (the last step at bottom of the webpage). I end
up getting what looks like steps- I can't get them to extend the whole length
of the graph. Any ideas?

Thanks,
AL
