Is this what you want? Double click the series, click on the Options
tab, and change the Gap Width setting. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ |

That helped, but I did not phrase my question correctly the first time.
Following what you said, I was able to increase the width of the bars in the bar graph, but it also decreased the gap between each bar. I want to keep the gap the same while at the same time increasing the width of each bar in the bar graph. "Jon Peltier" wrote: Is this what you want? Hi Rita -
It's a zero sum game. The only way to increase one without decreasing the other is to increase the sum, that is, make the entire chart wider. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Peltier Technical Services Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com/ _______ Rita wrote: That helped, but I did not phrase my question correctly the first time. How do I resize the columns in a graph chart?
Jon, is there any way to make the width of the bars vary one from another? I
have 10 items whose perfomance I measure performance and I plot their performance indices. I'd like the one that is the biggest dollar-wise to have the widest bar. As you indicated below, I can make them all wider or narrower, and vary the gap between them, but haven't been able to figure out how to make them different widths. Thanks for any help!
