Default Gridline format

I would like for the gridlines to appear in front of the columns in a chart.

Hi,

The gridlines will not come infront of the columns.
You can work around this by creating your own gridlines.
This page has examples of adding a line to a chart which you can adapt
to do multiple lines. Also contains links to further resources.
