DOT Chart
I have created a line chart using Jon Peltier's DOT chart example
http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/DotPlot.html i.e. rotated my chart so the labels go up the side. How do you do this where their is also a Column C of Values and you want a line chart plotting the two sets of values |

DOT Chart
Start with the labels in column A, the two value series in column B and
C, and the heights in column D. Follow the procedure in the tutorial, at first with only the first value series (based on columns B and D, not B and C as if there's one value series). After you've formatted the value series as a set of markers, and hidden the bar series (where the tutorial reads "Hide the bar chart series to finish the simple Dot Plot"), copy the data in columns C and D, select the chart, and use Paste Special to add this series the way you added the first value series. Excel should add the series as another XY series on the primary axis. If not, change the chart type, then if necessary the axis. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier Peltier Technical Services, Inc. http://peltiertech.com/ Rob wrote: I have created a line chart using Jon Peltier's DOT chart example http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/DotPlot.html i.e. rotated my chart so the labels go up the side.
