Default Excel 2007 default location

Hi,
using Excel 2007, when creating a chart (Insert Chart group), the default
create location is the current spread sheet (along with the date). Is there a
way to change this (change the default or each and every time), so the new
chart is created in a new sheet?
MUCH THANKS!
Gene:)

Hi,

Well, yes and no. You can create a new chart on a chart page by default if
you press F11 when the data is selected. If you are trying to get the chart
to appear on a new worksheet you will need to write a macro. Of course you
can always right click the chart and choose Move Chart, but the target sheet
must already exist.

If this helps, please click the Yes button.
