Default scales on surface / contour charts

Is there any way to get non-uniform x and y axes on a surface (or contour)
chart ?

Kind Regards,
Dave

Excel's surface charts treat the x and y values as 'categories' not numbers
So they are like Line charts not like XY charts
best wishes
