Default Simulating a Zodiac with a chart

I want to make a circular chart similar to a Zodiac but I want to
color sections similar to a pie chart.
I have plotted this before using Sin/Cos of the degree but did not
have the ability to color the pie shape pieces.
Is this possible?

So say I want from 360* (top dead center) to 90* (left quadrant) to be
shaded, how would I do this and with what type of chart?
