Default Dual axis on PivotChart

I created a pivot table that contains data in the following format:

Year | Month | Data 1
Data 2
Year | Month | Data 1
Data 2
etc.

Now, I am trying to create a chart where Data1 and Data2 would be on 2
different y axis (Data1 is an average dollar amount and Data2 is the
number of deals, so they don't work well on the same Y-Axis).
Is there a way do to this?
When I create the chart both number (data1 and Data2) appear to be
just one series, and when I right click on it, the Secondary Axis is
grayed out).

Thank you,
Max

To get more than 1 series, Data1 and Data2 need to be column headers, not row
headers. You should then be able to do a secondary axis.

Thanks.
But how do I get them to be Column headers? I add both data1 and data2
to the "data" area of the pivot chart, and that is how it gets
arranged there (as row headers, not columns).

Thank you for your help.

Might be easier to explain this working with the actual chart.

Grab your data buttons and drag them to where it says "Drop Series fields
here"
You should now have 2 series instead of one. Change type of chart to line
what you want, then double-click one of the series and change axis to
secondary axis.

I must be missing something somewhere. My data is dollar amounts and
number of deals. When I drag it to the "Drop Series Here" I get a list
of all the dollar amounts (and numbers) listed there, and nothing on
the chart....

Thank you.

Hmm. Okay, I assume you have four fields you're dealing with, Year, Month,
Number, Dollars. For reference, lets start with a blank pivot chart.

Drag both numbers and dollars into the middle of the chart.
XL should have combined them into a single "Data" field, displayed at bottom.
Drag month to the left of this Data, and then Year to the left of Month.
Finally, move the Data field over to the series field area.

Also of note, this is for 2003 and older.
