Default To plot 3 series each with 90000 data in single Line or XY chart.

I have 3 series of a process data for over 90,000 instants. One series is
varying between 2,500 and 4,000 units, other series is varying between 150
and 190 units and the third series is varying between -20 to 5. I would like
all 3 series to be plotted in a single chart to observe process performance.
While ploting on excel 2007 Line/XY chart, self face the following difficulty.
1) Beyond 32,000, data points are not plotted.
2) Not able to have 3 different Y axis for 3 series.

Can I have suitable suggestion.

Hi,

Excel has the following limits in the charting area:

Data series in one chart 255
Data points in a data series for 2-D charts 32,000
Data points in a data series for 3-D charts 4,000
Data points for all data series in one chart 256,000

You can beat the 32000 point limit for an xy scatter by defining 3 series
for the 90000 points. Sort your x-axis values and plot the first 30000 as
series 1 then add a second series and then a third series.

You can plot on two axis by clicking on one of the series and choosing
Format Series and clicking the Secondary Axis option. To do more than 2
axises you need to create a dummy axis.

Jon's site has a number of examples of dummy axis:

If this helps, please click the Yes button

What else is there to tell.

Maybe he didn't read your email?

He claims he posted to both places at the same time in a reply, though the
post here is time-stamped well after my email reply. It's entirely possible
he missed my reply until after posting here, and I certainly didn't mean any
disrespect with my comment.
