Chart Axis Differs Between Excel 03 & 07
I built for my company a template for top-level statistical & financial
reporting to client Boards of Directors. The final output has 6 graphs, 2 'line' and 4 'radar'. I originally built the template on Excel 03, although most clients now use it on Excel 07. One of the clients has a very odd problem. When she uses the workbook in Excel 03, one of the line graph's time axes -- the X axis -- shows a different time range than the other. Both graphs pull the data for the X axis from the same range of cells. When she (or I) opens the workbook on a different computer using Excel 07, both line graphs function normally and both show the same correct time span on the X axis. What might be causing this bizarre behavior? She uses XPPro. Thanks in advance. |

Chart Axis Differs Between Excel 03 & 07
Hi,
You might choose the chart and then the command Chart, Chart Options, Axis and make sure the x-axis is set to the same things (probably Time-scale) on both machines. A second thing you could check - right click the x-axis and choose Format Axis, click the Scale tab (in 2003) and note the settings, then in 2007 also right click the x-axis and choose Format Axis, and on the Axis Options tab note the Axis Type. -- Thanks, Shane Devenshire "pdberger" wrote: I built for my company a template for top-level statistical & financial reporting to client Boards of Directors.
