Default Chart Axis Differs Between Excel 03 & 07

I built for my company a template for top-level statistical & financial
reporting to client Boards of Directors. The final output has 6 graphs, 2
'line' and 4 'radar'. I originally built the template on Excel 03, although
most clients now use it on Excel 07.
One of the clients has a very odd problem. When she uses the workbook in
Excel 03, one of the line graph's time axes -- the X axis -- shows a
different time range than the other. Both graphs pull the data for the X
axis from the same range of cells. When she (or I) opens the workbook on a
different computer using Excel 07, both line graphs function normally and
both show the same correct time span on the X axis.

What might be causing this bizarre behavior? She uses XPPro.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You might choose the chart and then the command Chart, Chart Options, Axis
and make sure the x-axis is set to the same things (probably Time-scale) on
both machines.

A second thing you could check - right click the x-axis and choose Format
Axis, click the Scale tab (in 2003) and note the settings, then in 2007 also
right click the x-axis and choose Format Axis, and on the Axis Options tab
note the Axis Type.

Thanks,
