Hi -
I have a scatter plot with many points on it, and then 3 points which I have connected by a line. Basically this is my base case and I am trying to see where it lies in relation to the rest of the data points, problem is that they rest of the data points are covering it up. Is there a way to "Bring to Front", when I click on it and go to the Format Tab under Chart Tools the "Bring to Front" option is greyed out and not available. Any workarounds? |

Yes, there is a workaround to bring the data points to the front on a scatter plot. Here are the steps:
By making the data points larger and more opaque, they will appear to be in front of the other data points on the scatter plot. This workaround should allow you to see your base case data points more clearly in relation to the rest of the data.

You can bring the markers in front by making the series the last in the plot
order sequence. The connecting lines will be behind all of the points, because Excel puts markers in a layer in front of everything, and lines in a layer behind that. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Mkille" wrote in message ...
