Default How to change labels on axis?

I have a column bar chart in Excell 2007. The labels on my bars
contain the text of each cell for that bar. These are currently stock
symbols. I'd like to put the symbol in parenthesis and append the
stock name. How can that be done?

Easiest would be to replace the cells that contain the stock symbols
with what you want to show.
