Is there a way to copy a dynamic excel chart into another workbook preventing
the pasted one from changing when I update something in a corresponding table of the original chart? I would like to paste it as an object or image, whatever but it can't change at all in that new workbook. The reason for this is that I use a pivot table and then corresponding to it table, which the chart is based on. Whenever I copy it to my excel report and then change something in pivot table, this affects both charts instead of one. Please help me this is URGENT. Excel version 2002(at work) and 2003(at home) |

Select the chart, hold Shift while selecting the Edit menu, choose Copy
Picture, and choose the on-screen and picture options. Then just do a simple paste where you want the image of the chart to appear. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions Peltier Technical Services, Inc. - http://PeltierTech.com _______ "Piotr (Peter)" wrote in message ...
