I have a chart with the x-axis labeled: 1000-2000, 10000-11000, 19000-20000,
2000-3000. Do you have any ideas on how to hold onto the preceding zeros so it will list right? |

Try custom formatting your axis values.
Double click a value on the axis, and format it accordingly as you would normally do in Excel itself. -- Wigi http://www.wimgielis.be = Excel/VBA, soccer and music "s. You can change the format of these cells in the spreadsheet to Text.
Bear in mind this will not sort correctly in numerical order so you will need to make sure the line items are in the right order before creating your chart.
