Default Extra columns in Pivot Tables

When I add a second data item into the data area in pivot tables, the second
data item appears below the first. Is there any way of making the item appear
in a separate column instead?

Just grab the Grey cell marked Data (Probably B3), and drag it to the Column
Fields, eg C3
