Hi quick question, was wondering what the custom format is to display the
percentage number without the percentage sign. eg. to change 400% into 400 without changing the source data. If i change it from a percentage format to number format it changes from 400% to 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Just change the source data. If you need the percentage figure on your spreadsheet, create two ranges, one with the percentage (for the spreadsheet) and one without (for the chart). -- Del Cotter NB Personal replies to this post will send email to , which goes to a spam folder-- please send your email to del3 instead. |

The idea here isn't to change source data, but gain control of how numbers
are displayed. So if you have a 100% stacked bar, n values are your source, why should you have to go through a contortion just to NOT display the % symbol after after every number in the axis e.g. 0% 25% 75% 100% ? ....especially when the axis is going to be labeled Percent SomethingOrOther anyway.
